Default OT- VB City Council Elect and who supports Fishing

I wanted to put this out to everyone to give some insight on the upcoming elections for VB City Council. Recently some very well know Marina Owners, Fisherman and Charter Captians sat down for a session to discuss some of the issues which Current Council Members have help on and which future ones would be there to better support us in the upcoming years. Please visit the site below to see the issues presented and who stands behind helping drive more resources towards enhancing the Recreational/Charter fishing industry & its resources.

Please vote and help us get the officials who have supported and will support Virginia Beach Fishing!

Thanks Kevin. Looks like Maddox, Reeve, desteph, Villanueva, Jones and Wood are the ones. It did not take much to see that maddox and Reeve kicked some serious butt when the dredging and inlet needed help as well as keeping the city from dumping the spoils in Rudee Inlet that messed up the puppy drum and speck fishing for a year or so. Get out and Vote!!!

I dont know who was at the city council meeting last year when the dredging was a big issue but those guys got the job done. I hope we dont wait around till we need something from the city and have the wrong guys in there to help us out.

    Kevin,

As a boater and fisherman who uses both inlets in VB I also think it is clear that the people that sit on our city council need to be open to hearing what we have to say. I like the fact that the group you mentioned listened to and recognizes the problems that we face towards boating and fishing in the area. A trip inside Lynnhaven inlet and a look at the dredging fisaco should be enough to know that the people on the council need to know whats going on.
