Lou: Great runniing with you & crew! I didn't know you had Tilly on board... no wonder you had a good catch for such a strange day offshore![grin] I bet Tilly rigged the bait that made the wahoo come snapping!
Nice work Lou! Did you have anykind of a skirt on that mullet? How long will it last on the shovel if not skirted? I know they are tough and have always trolled em up top,,, interesting idea....

Lou and crew, great job and good seeing you guys out there. It was comforting to know that you guys were backing us up running out and back in.
Mike
great job Lou, that wahoo pic is great.
Nice pics and fish, i went out with a crew on friday and got into a few of them. Your right though once that wind started picking up around 1pm there were white caps in every which direction and i started to get nervous but around 2:30 everything calmed right down again just like it was in the morning. We found a 5 degree temp break and fished that near a seaweed line. Saw about an 8 foot tiger shark twice as it circled underneath the flatlines. Nice catch![]()
Oh so sweet. I would say that those shorts were most likely Kings too. [grin]
???thread a stinger on wire and hang the point out the bally's as$???
Lou, great report and nice catch - in short order! Thanks again for the assist with the heading outside sea buoy all the way to the break. That was a nice break, and you could feel that warm air when we ran across it - awesome!
My GPS finally acquired satellites, and we were rewarded with 2 hoos and some nice mahi by days end. Wind was on/off throughout the day. THANKS AGAIN![grin]
Nice work Lou,
Congrats. I believe in previous post you said you are using a Cannon camera, how many megapixels is it? Are you doing any post processing of the images? Everytime I see fish pictures you take they look great. Nice job and great pics!
Thanks,
Doug
Skipjack anytime!!!!
Doug the camera is a Canon 4.1 mega pixel A80 nothing fancy however, I make a point to take good pics, sun in the right place, hose off the fish, take the pic while the fish is lit up ect ect. I do use Adobe Photoshop CS to increase the resolution to 300 pixels/in and use the auto level feature to correct the color balance and crop accordingly. But that's it.
Great pics, thx for the report. Sounds like a great day.
