Finished 3rd in Hatteras Grand Slam

Fished with Capt. Jay aboard Bite Me Sportfishing for the 2nd Annual Hatteras Grand Slam. First I what to start off saying that this was a great tournament and I hope to see some Tidal Fish members in it next year.

Day 1- It was rough but fishable. Went 1 for 3 on whiteys....Jay and I both had to put on the penalty shirt for a whiff....If I get pictures of the penalty shirt, I will post them....I wonder how much $$ Jay would pay for me not to post that pic

Day 2- Absolutely Beautiful!!!! Went 2 for 3 on whiteys. Both anglers lost their billfish viginity while securing our 3rd place finish. They got to take a little swim in Hatteras Harbor...

I had a great time and want to Thank Capt. Jay and his mate Scuba Steve for thier services this weekend, my crew of WayWay, my dad, and friends Rick and Tyson!!!! And we even made a lil money

Congrats on finishing in the money. Capt. Fred (aka Ken Moors) and I, with 2 other guys who aren't tidalfish members fished the tournament on the Albatross III with Capt. Ernie Foster. Had a nice white Saturday and we were in 5th place (I think) at the end of the day, but didn't have a sniff on Sunday, even though we were within sight of the Bite Me most of the day. Had a great time anyway, learned a ton from Ernie. Definitely plan to fish this tournament next year.
