    Default bluefish/mac around windmill

    fished north of windmill and bettween wm and sr 7/30 and got into mostly blues and one mac , trolling #1 planers and #2 planers about 5.5 to 6.5 kn
    green prism color and regular color clarks , worked the area about 2 to 3 hours.
    i heard on the radio that a guy down at hole in the wall around the #1 marker was catching the macs pretty good.
    deep fried bluefish for supper tonite.
    go get them and tight lines to all.

    I might have seen you. I was in the area and never saw so many birds work in groups the way they did on Saturday July 29th. We limited on blues in literally 15-20 minutes. Best I've ever seen!!

    Basically yes. In the past I used to have to run several patterns to stay in front of them but on that day I just waited until the next school came through which was about 4-5 minutes. Like I said I've never seen so many schools of blues and birds work so close. My fishing bud said it best...'Damn, you can almost run to shore on top of the blues and not get wet'!! It was that good.

    sunday was okay some breakinf fish and some birds but not like i hear it was on sat.
    we will be back at it on the 11th [excited]

    Awesome. Thanks. I live right there...almost and I was driving back form New England on Saturday. I went out Sunday evening and didn't see a thing. I was looking for surface activity with all of the bait in the water.
