    Default bromes island

went down to broomes island a nice 1hr 45min drive one way saturday morning. couldnt go in my usual creek due to other crabbers there so I laid my 1200 ft of line out in the main river about 10 ft deep. never seen action like that before! crabs on almost every neck it seemed like! though mostly all females and nothing too huge it was alot of fun and packed out 2 bushels in 2 hrs and spent the rest of the morning fishing. may try the rhode river next saturday morning just hate how crowded it is there but only 1 hr away makes it very tempting.

Nice report, any size to the keepers? How'd you do fishing, I'm kind of thinking about a similar trip this weekend.

mostly all 5 1/2 to 6 inch crabs with a few larger ones mixed in.
as far as fishing we were just casting around shorelines catching alot of white perch medium sized and one 12 inch striper on small rattle traps
