looking to buy new trolling motor

I just got my boat ready to take out and am trying to decide on a trolling motor. I have a 15' trihull mainly going to duck hunt but do enjoy bass fishing as well. I want a good foot controll easy to us in the dark and quick response in the steering with 50 lbs. of thrust atleast. I would like to stay with the 12 volt system but not a must.

Do your self a favor and go with 24v. I am also looking for a new motor. I am leaning toward minn kota based on all the problems I have had with 2 out of 3 motor guides I have owned.

Thanks Dwayne I am getting ready to by the motor shortly The 24 volt could very well be the option but I want models to choose from. Give me any help that you can.
