Sorry it's a bit late but here goes.
Crabbed the south river this morning for 3 hours starting around 6:45. Used 25 traps. Started some shallow 5-7 and some deep 10-12. First run nothing shallow 5-6 in the deep water. Moved all the traps deep and thenit wa ****** or miss.
Moved to another section of shoreline concentrating on the 12' depth. Started to pick up 4-5 keepers a run. Quit at 9:30 with a solid hlaf bushel of mixed cabs. Some big females. mostly medium males, some heavy some light. Most of the best crabs came from the 12' water. ther traps that were a little shallower produced the lighter smaller crabs.
Could've been worse.
I did the exact same thing in the severn.Ended up with a little over a bushel.12' was best. All females less than 12' nothing less than 9'.
