    Default Spot fishn friday

Started the day at the spike, and picked up some nice rock candy. After getting a fair amount moved up the river to Parrots and began catching some for the table. These were about 8-10'. in 30-33'. Bloodworms out fished the fishbites today.

Matches what my friend discovered off the silos.
About 30 feet and bloodworms. He filled 2 coolers of nice spot comperable to some of Mr Js Pleasures catches. Looked like a couple of hundred anyway.

    Default Spot fishn friday

Fished today (Sunday). Started off at the Silos - is that Butler's Hole? - on a channel edge. Caught some but not steady. Moved 4 miles upriver to another sharp channel edge on the same side of the river, but not sure what the location is called. Caught them steady there. Caught over 100 fish probably in little more than an hour. 8-10' spot - kept some for the table. Fishbites outfished bloodworms. 20-23 feet was the required depth at both locations. 30' produced only small croaker and less than 20' didn't really produce anything. Ended up with around 200 spot. Also caught some small croaker, sea bass, flounder, bluefish, and pufferfish. Caught no trout.

BTW - put in at Locklies - seemed very expensive ($15 launch for mediocre ramp) and damaged by storm
