Chris- Glad you found them.
I'll have to keep an eye out for the 'Double Trouble' next year in SB [smile]
Started out Satirday AM, where I had quit last weekend with 28 traps in 12-14' and the first 2 runs produced 8 average at best crabs. With 2 other people on board this wasn't quite what I was hoping for first the first 2 runs fo teh day.
Remembering Dale's and Tommyteks' reports from the Selby Bay area from this past week (Thanks a bunch to both of you), I opted for plan B. Never having been there I, pulled up the area on the Garmin and shot blindly.
Down the river I came and cut into the mouth of the bay right behind the green marker. Laid parallel to the shoreline in 13'. By this time it was 7:45 or so. Pulled all the traps back into the boat at 9:15 with basically a full bushel of mixed females and males all heavy. Probably averaged 7-8 keepers a run. Probably only threw back 10 or so sublegals. Had I made I more run, I would have filled the basket or overfilled it, Jimmy style. Threw back alot of legal but small females.
Everybody take notice, I am claiming this stretch of shoreline for myself next year.[grin] KEEP OUT
Thanks again to Dale and Tommy for the help and advice

WTG Chris. I'm glad things worked out. Sounds like you made a good move. I was further back in Selby Bay and did not see you. I will be out next weekend, so I will look for the Double Trouble. See you on the water.
Unfortunately, Staurday may have been the last for the boat and definitely the crabs this year. This weekend is the surf-fishing tourney in OC, followed by a birthday weekend and then the first early Muzzleloader season, etc, etc, etc.....
I have a freezer begging to be re-filled with deer meat. Time to shift priorities. This time of the year is great but too many things on the outdoor calender, and not enough time, or at least not enough time off.
Selby will get my attention next year though.
