FISHED THE 430 NORTH TO THE 530 IN 30 TO 60 FATHOMS TODAY IN 67 TO 70 DEGREE WATER. 2 FOR 3 ON TUNA'S, HAD SPRO SWIVEL FAILURE ON THE WIND ON PLANNER. 1ST TIME I'VE SEEN 1 BREAK. NICE GRASS LINE WITH ONLY A FEW CHICKEN DOLPHIN BITES. HOOKED A BLUE @ LUNCH, GOT THE RELEASE. MARLIN SAVED THE DAY. LOT OF BOATS, NOT MUCH FISH. WATER WAS GREEN. CALVIN

Damn that water is putrid green. Nice work. You takin that boat down to OI for the winter? Is the old Albe gone?

Edited: Sorry, 1 more question. Did your Albe have a check valve at the top of the tank where the pickup tube exited? My boat quit running the other day and it turned out the ball in the valve froze preventing fuel from getting by. We pulled the fitting and replaced it with a straight 1. Don't know if any of you other Able 24 have this but my mech buddy said it will leave you stranded 1 day.
