I recently bought 2 big bird planers from yellow bird products... they sent me a release clip that is too weak to hold the line...does anyone have a sugestions

We use carabiners /w rubber bands and have had good success. Only problem being sometimes the rubber bands don't break, just takes some experimenting with different size bands

Try Scotty clips they are a little pricey but very reliable.:rolleyes:

I'll second the Scotty clips. I use the Scotty's with carabiners. Although I do have shower curtain rings and a stash of rubber bands for the busy days!

I'm also thinking about giving Scotty Clips a try. Are you guys using the Mini Grips or the larger Power Grip Plus model??
