Will Cimino sent me this informative link about one month ago:
Chatham County (http://www.jdunns.com/personal/chatham.html)

I later tracked down its author, Joel Dunn, and he has proved to be a veritable encyclopedia of fly fishing knowledge, and his expertise on fly-fishing for white bass and shad is remarkable.

As a warm-up for our April 12th event on the Haw River, Joel will speak to our club on April 8th. In the meantime, enjoy the selections below.

1. Large flyfishing listserver run out of U. Ky: www.flyfishlist.org
Archives of this list, dating back to 1990; a treasure trove of information, available at
archives.flyfishlist.org

2. wiki.flyfishlist.org

3. He and Dave Perry (UNC Press) are admins of a local listserver

Wow, I knew those names looked familiar when you told me about this. I've been on the [email protected] since this past summer, pretty cool stuff.

Just a note: Joel will speak on the subject of fly fishing for white bass at our meeting on Tuesday.
