I need a new tach and new multifunction.

Question 1: Can I connect this engine to my HDS 5 or 10? What do I need?

Question 2: Its hard for me to understand whether I can use later gauges as I am not at the boat and cant pull them - anyone have this information or what years I can use? Trying to see if I can find something cheaper.

Lowrance had an interface that would connect from your motors wiring harness to the NMEA network and you could display instrumentation on your Lowrance unit. I don't know if they are still available though. Call Lowrance Customer Care to find out.
