Offshore anglers have enjoyed big-game action as a remarkable 50-pound dolphin was hooked in Norfolk Canyon, while the Hot Dog gave up an immense 107-pound yellowfin tuna and a 75-pound bluefin. Offshore deep-droppers have enjoyed good tilefish action.

One of the largest walleyes known to have ever been caught in Delaware was reported last week. The 6.94 pounder came out of the Brandywine on a Rapala. David Lowery’s fish was actually one ounce heavier than the current state record, which would have tied it for the state record walleye catch. However, state officials did not check the catch. Delaware has a new minimum size limit on flounder - 17 inches. (It had been 18 inches). The possession limit is 4 flounder per day, and there is no closed season.
