Winter has moved into the Maryland waters of the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries, but anglers are still managing to brave the wind and cold and catch some pickerel in the upper reaches of both the western and eastern shore tributaries. Small jigs tipped with live minnows or jigs with a nice bucktail and some flash fished along the bottom have been the trick.
