Northeast Fishing Reports
Fishing from Maine to New Jersey is increasingly heating up with each passing day. Striped bass are making their way up the coast and we have a report from Maine this week with some hot striper action. New York striper fishing on the flats and bays has been wide open. The Rhode Island area is waiting on the arrival of the squid which should happen any day. Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard striper fishing has been excellent as well. Tuna fishing in New Jersey and New York has been sweet when anglers have been able to make it out. Did you know striped bass eat turtles? Capt. The northeast fishing reports are back. Fishing in just starting to pick up and with a good stretch of warm weather things should be wide open. I've received word from many fishing guides from Maine to New Jersey that they have been preparing their boats and checking their tackle in preparation for the good fishing they are anticipating. Striped Bass fishing has already started in Jamaica Bay with Capt. John McMurray reporting some good action on light tackle and action starting to heat up on the fly. Further up the coast in the Cape Cod area Capt. Alan from Got Stryper charters says that he's been having fun jigging some nice sized cod while he awaits the striped bass arrival any day......
