Think she will last until October 2011 If you get her a 12 ga., I doubt she will want to hunt with it after she shoots it several times. You best find a 20 ga. if you really want her to hunt with you.........Gary

Im looking for a semi for my wife. She is 5 8 125. Ive had her shoot my snake gun Its a12 ga Mossburg Maverick which is a very lightweight gun but its got some thump to it even with target loads. Ease her into it. I wouldnt buy anything until she gets a good feel for it. Ive had her down to the gun shows looking for a good fit. I think the youth stock might be worth looking in to. It gives a slightly shorter length of pull. It just seems to fit her better. I think the 1187 or an 1100 might be the ticket but they are heavy. Charles Daley and the Escort are Turkish made and much lighter while having very good balance. They are also available for less bucks than the Remmys. My buddy got his wife a Mossburg 930 for Deer hunting and now hes the one using it and she stays home. She didnt go once with us this year. Just some things to think about. Im in kinda the same boat. My wife loves to fish with me thru all kinds of weather and conditions. Im just trying to expand on that.
