    That is awesome post - pictures and text top notch.

    Thanks for taking time to put it up - sure it will help new comers figure out a trot line.

    FWIW: I like to use a different line to the anchors and chain. I will not admit to grabbing the wrong one more then 5 times in a trip . I like a thicker one to anchors - thinner to chain so it goes over roller easy.

    Great post. Question on chain length: I've heard recommendations anywhere from 18 inches to 3 feet plus.

    What has been a good length of chain from those of you that have been running lines for a while?
