Careful. You are talking about North Carolina where the commercial boys get their way completely. This could be a PR job to make them look good while doing nothing.
Further thought - I had seen this elsewhere but followed the above link just now and it is clear that there is no change. NC continues to steal all of our fish. Do not spend money fishing in NC. Three trips to NC costs the same as one to Florida and you will get ten times as many fish in Florida.
I have been trying to follow this somewhat. Did these regs pass? Is it true they take effect in 2018? ( which mean we may see more bottom fish in 2022... )
