    Default New Lure Mold

Finally found something that I have been looking for for years!

If I had to chose one lure, it would be a blade bait but for years the largest ones I could find were 3/4 oz. Do-It just came out with a new blade bait mold that pours 3/4, 1, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 oz. blades. I ordered it this weekend and got it today. I have covered the pool for the winter, but there was a pocket of about 18 inches deep where I have the pump set so I can keep too much water from accumulating on the cover. Well, I had to test out the action. I wasn't able to tell too much about how it acted vertically but it seemed ok. It sure has a nice action when retrieved so I think it will be great. For comparison, the top lure is a standard 3/4 oz. blade that I make.

Been using them for 33 years. My biggest I a 4oz. Silver Buddy. Like any other lure there's a right place and right time . They were invented by Paul "Buddy" Banks in 1983.
