This time last year the inlet and back bays were loaded with big blues. Other than the scattered report it doesn’t sound like they are there this year.
What are fhe thoughts of them still invading or has fhe weather totally thrown them off.

I had the worse yr last yr with blues, several of my early trips , just plain struck out and don"t think I caught more than 3 or 4 worth keeping on any trip.. Haven't caught blues over 2# in 3 yrs!
Still, I plan to make several runs from New Point to look for them Of Va beach and CBBT this yr.. Would be glad to get any info tips..
Trying to fihure out Bluefish south of Long Island is kind of folly since they dont like the inshore mid Atlantic and Chesapeake since the 90s. My guess is its all about the baitfish and water quality since the commercial quality of Blues are about the same as catfood.
