    Default Dead fish

Took a small plane ride out of bay bridge airport yesterday and could see acres of dead fish in front of Hemingway’s. Not sure what they were. It did not look healthy!

Dead Menhaden. Algae bloom. Same thing that kills a lot of the fish in the summer despite it all being blamed on fishing.

Did you report it? If not, you should.

Fish kills and their causes are tracked, it's important to report them.

We saw some floaters below the bay bridge yesterday. Kind of early for an algae bloom but stranger things have been know to happen.

I was out fishing yesterday 2-5 miles south of bridge. Saw a lot of dead and dying Menhaden on east side.

Running back near Hacketts point on west side - saw tide line full of dead Menhaden that looked to be few days old ( rotting ).
They say that life's a carousel - spinning fast, you've got to ride it well.

Green sounds like algae . Maybe from fertilizer runoff ?
Fishing can be anything you want it to be
