Got underway at 5am and I was quickly greeted by a stiff 2ft chop out of the south. Ran 3 miles past where I wanted to fish and turned the boat so waves were at my back. Put out 8 rods. 4 off the outriggers with tandem buck tails and inline weights from 2-10oz and 4 down planners with drone spoons. Got a good hit off the long rigger and boated a nice 22incher. From there the #3 planner got hot, picking up 8 fish in the next hour. Put a 24 in the box to make my limit at 8:30 and pulled them in. Should have payed attention to skips post yesterday as I picked up 8lbs of ice that was quickly melting. Lots of fish north of love pt. Found most fish in 22-28 feet. Lots of healthy feisty 20 inchers out there. #3 planner was the hot rod today
