I trolled from York Spit down the channel towards the BBT to the beginning of the York River Channel this afternoon using no. 1 planers and silver Clark spoons.
One nice Spanish and a couple of chopper blues.
Thanks for the report, love it when you give the what, when, and where.
Carolina Classic 25
Abundance of Mac's further North & up into Maryland and Potomac.
I was out yesterday afternoon. Trolled from York Spit to New Point Comfort and back with #1 planners and gold clark spoons. Caught four spanish, two shorts and one blue.
From three and four to one and two in the York River Channel lots of mac's. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, we had a total of 58 between all three days. # one planer and the regular spoons. 6 - 6.5 knots for speed. Noticed the bite seems better against the tide.
