    Default finally

My son and I bought 2 dozen spot from Anglers when they opened at 5am. The thought was to not
spend 2 hours catching them and getting a jump on all the boats at the bridge pilings. It paid off because
we had our pick at any piling and after hitting the 4th one we finally found the fish. We ended up putting
4 keepers in the cooler. Two 24" and two 20". July 21st and finally got the stink off my boat for stripers.
Worst year I have ever fished.

    Mike

    Congrats on your success.

How did you transfer the spot from the store to the bay? And where did you get the water?

This isn’t meant to be derogatory but those fish sure are skinny. Bellies appear empty. Anyway this is a nice report. I heard spot are $2,50 a piece at Anglers. Is this true?

Yup and with the numbers I cited in the regulations post, this is the best you have to look forward to, at least the next 3 years.

Glad you got some and had a “good” day.

Sad when 5 years ago a good day would have been 25-27” fish.
