Suzuki and Yamaha are comparable but Suzuki is cheaper. All new 4 stroke motors are good. Shop around and see who gives you the best price .........Gary

I repowered 3 years ago with Suzuki, I Have almost a thousand hours and my motors are running like they are brand new. I change oil every hundred hours and keep up with general maintenance. All the 4 strokes are well made it is matter of dollars.

Correct, the most local and, "qualified tech", should be a major consideration when choosing an engine.
Having confidence that the work is done correctly while not being ripped a new one every time you take it in.
That's another thing, when you have to take it in, how long typically is the wait?
Learn how to do the 100 hour maintenance yourself- Save time and lots of $$.
