    Default Attn: Judy 9-9-19

I know I know I said no reports and pictures, but we have Judy who loves perch fishing like me. This post is for her. Judy, I caught a half bucket of perch in two Hrs. this morning. They hit my little albino color jig. Looking forward to your next perch report.9-9-19.JPG9-9-19 (2).JPGClick image for larger version.

Andy: Do you have to tip the hook with any bait or just cast and retreave? do you jerck it at all or let it sink to the bottom first before you retreave? Thanks, Tommy

Hi Tommy, Most times I slowly jig it. Depending how deep the water is. If i find the fish in four or five feet I let the jig hit bottom and lightly and slowly jig it back. If in two or three feet you can start the same retrieve right away, or let it hit bottom then start. If your where the fish are, it won't take long to know what is the best retrieve. No I don't tip my jigs with bait. I do use this. I put it in my bags of plastic lures. It gives the baits a smell I think the fish like. I have been using this on plastic baits for many years. Andy,

The albino is one of my most productive colors for both the small plastics like the one that you show, as well as the 5" BKD type. Thanks, and good eating!

Yes Don. I used the 6" or was it 7" bass Assassin Albino shad all my fishing life for rock fish. That is in my opinion the best color.Name: Albino Shad Bass Assassin.jpg
