With the exception of about 4 years when I quit college and was living in S Pa and fishing the Susky, have lived in the BWI airport area and have been fishing crabbing the bay since birth.

    LTJ and artificials favorite

    Fishing grounds vary by species.

    Invasive species addict!!!

Been fishing the bay on and off since I was a kid, but had my own boat for 15 years now
Fish the upper bay, almost exclusively LTJ.... My son hates to troll! 😀

Fished and crabbed for more than 7 decades.
    Still at it strong.
Going solo crabbing either tomorrow or Friday.
Have wheels under both of my boats so I can go where the fish/crabs are.
LTJ is my favorite fishing technique, but I have tried them all.
    Trot line for crabs.
Largest fish: 53# Striper & 74# Cobia. Both on light tackle, 15# PowerPro.
Most fish caught in one day: Don't know.... stopped counting at 250 @ CCNPP.
I suspect the better days are behind me, however, I still look forward to an exciting future.

    60s.
    40 something years fishing.
I like trolling because I am lazy. Nice, casual, slow boat ride accented by moments of chaos. "Grab the net! Not that net, the good net!"

A word about my board participation: I generally do not post on the board unless I feel my post is a contribution and not just an echo of what someone else has said.

Been fishing and crabbing the bay since I got my drivers license and a trailer boat at 16.
Mostly troll, bottom fish and LTJ the middle bay/tributaries.
Am now retired and living waterside on the Eastern Shore.
Catch most of my crabs in our dock pots but run a trot line for fun or to supply the "family and friends crab feasts" that we have several times a season.
Also catch a lot of pan fish (Perch) from the dock/shoreline.

    Age: 60s

Grew up locally and started fishing from bank with hook and bobber as a 10 year-old in Marley Creek with bread and worms as bait.

Light tackle catch and release angler now who loves to fly fish.

Member of Free State Fly Fishers.

    Also a kayak angler.

I travel occasionally to distant states to fish shallow waters on the fly or with light tackle.

Also, I wade upper Potomac and Susquehanna with fly rod when time and conditions allow.

Mostly, I fish shallow water in western shore tidal creeks and Eastern Shore ponds in my kayak.

We live in a great area that allows fishing opportunities of all kinds throughout the year.
