Should definitely be worth trying. I haven't been lately, BUT the next 90 days should be prime for YP and pickeral. Might go Thursday and/or Friday.

Went a week ago and caught 5 pickerel, 2 were over 24" and 7 yellers. White perch left the creeks.

Biggest I heard of recently is 26 in. Pickerel. I'll get started this week with yellows and pickerel. It's been Crappie & Bass so far. Gotta change tactics and locations.. Bass have been running 1-6lbs, and crappie 9-13 in.

Tried the creek yesterday. Minnows and bobber. Slow at first, one here and one there. Changed to a popping cork with shad dart and Minnow and was pretty steady action. Even caught some white perch. Finished at my limit and released them all. Yellow perch to 12”. Gonna head back out after the weather moderates

No problem Steve. If your gonna try it, I wouldn’t go out without popping corks. It was all the difference. Like I said, once I changed to the popping cork it steady almost a fish every cast

Can anyone suggest a good lure for pickerel? I’d like to target them next time
