    Default Why So Early?

Thought this was a good read, captures the logic, like there is any, of why we get up so early.

Or as I tell my wife, because the idiots aren’t awake yet.

    Enjoy, I did.

Substitute a center console for the kayak and many of us have lived the experience many, many times and will continue to repeat it for as long as there are sunrises left in our lives.

There’s that certain tranquility that can only be experienced as the sun is coming up.

Sunset is close, but not the same.

    AMEN!
    I agree,

I've enjoyed many Sunday Sunrise Services on the water.

I can only hope there are many more in my future.

I'm not sure which is better, watching the sun rise over the ocean miles off shore in the gulf steam as the first lines go out or sitting back at the bar that faces the sun set watching the green flash/second sun set while you talk about the days fishing

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good reminiscing sunset but I think it's the anticipation of things to come and the lack of people that are awake in the AM that gives sunrise the edge.

Actually my retirement goal is to have a bay view condo/ townhouse in OC with a deeded boat dock out back to watch the sun set.
