Necessity was the Mother of inventing that bunk spacer since every time I hit a pothole the bunk slipped down. No matter how tight I made the nut, it still slipped. It hasn't budged a millimeter since. It may not look pretty, but it does its job beautifully. One of these days I'm going to treat it to some stainless steel jewelry.

Always a bummer to encounter problems while trailering. Two questions- How did a bunk problem present a different handling characteristic vs a tire/spring mishap? Nice job on the fix. #2 Do you use a swivel when using Mepps to alleviate line twist?
    Thanks in advance
