smaller bluefins

Hey guys, long time since I've posted. I've got a question about smaller bluefin 27-47 inches, particularly the smaller ones off of Virginia and MD.

How is the fishery for them, and how has it changed? A while ago- back when I was in VA, we could go to the lumps about 20 miles offshore of Virginia in June and find lots of them trolling. Is that still the case and are people still fishing for them?

I'm looking for information on catch rates, abundance or distribution and how the fishery might have changed in terms of locations timing, targeting, etc.
