Default 8/5 North of BB and BB Pilings

Got into the working birds Wednesday afternoon. All shorts 20-25 in all. Could NOT locate anything lager underneath. Fished BB pilings, still all smalls but lots of them.

Question. I started using a few Hopkins lures with treble hooks and quickly switched once i realized it was all small rock. Ended up using some single hook blue fish rigs. BKDs were of no use. What are you guys throwing around the bridge?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Bucktails work great

If you go real early before sun up and hear splashing top water is great. Sometimes rock are eating small crabs swimming on the surface

The bigger Rock often bite better when current is moving. Look down current 100-300 feet from breaking small fish.

A live Spot with 1/2 ounce weight will often get them. Watch meter and pull off line to get Spot to that depth. I use arm spans as roughly 5 feet.
They say that life's a carousel - spinning fast, you've got to ride it well.
