Well he got probation before judgement for his sentence. Not much of a punishment for 30 plus fish!!!
@MDNRPolice in the Kent Narrows area charged a Capitol Heights man with illegally possessing over 30 striped bass. Carlos Saravia, 35, was charged with exceeding the limit of striped bass. The fish were returned to state waters due to the food banks being closed.
That's got to make NRP sick much less how we feel. Disguisting......... Gary
Pisses me off - zero penalty.
No deterrent for any of his friends either. Keep 30 Rock - no big deal.
I question the fish being returned to water - 99% the fish were dead.
They say that life's a carousel - spinning fast, you've got to ride it well.
This has been happening in our courts for sometime now. No one is held accountable for any wrong doing. Law abiding citizens are suckers in the end. Just like they want to deny law abiding folks their rights to own guns. Criminals in this country are laughing their asses off.
The state is a complete 100% joke
Sorry, I don’t remember this particular guy because there’s been so many. Was this guy a licensed fishermen? Could he speak or understand the English language? If the answer is no would the sentence be the same?
One of the reasons the fine was so high is that the kid had a reputation for taking fish over the limit and DNR was probably looking for him.
Call me a racist or whatever but 90 out of 100 names on the DNR blotter are Hispanic. It is what it is.......... Gary
Well ........ at least he showed up to court.
