Head two great days of striper fishing.

Saturday: Ran South and was on them early with Lance and friends. We had our limti by 9:15 AM and trolled for several hours afterwards to get one more fish. Great Day and spoiloed the guys early. Even with temps in the 20's they stayed out back with Greg who was mating for me this weekend. Heaed in at 1:30PM even thoug caught limit much earlier.

Sunday: We searched South and then North and found the way up North. What is the saying "0" to Hero! Well we foudn them after two and a half hours of searching and it was Game on! First fish was a Fat 49#'er for Ashley. Lets just say she had never caught a striper before and she made it count! We had a total of 22 fish caught (Some were Small and some were FAT) and made our way back to the dock at 1:00PM.

Lucian you know what was great. I had Greg from the Point Runner fishing with me for a couple days and he stayed out in the freezing cold yesterday day with the crew talking with them while we tried to put them on more fish for pullage even though we had our fish. If you all every need need a bigger boat than mine for a charter out of OI Point Runner is your boat.

Good going on your catch, I left at 6:30 am and fished from the Carolina Line to the Green Can Saturday, and never had a bite. It seems most of the guys down south who stayed in legal waters had the same fate. However there were a few scattered bites at the Cape for a few lucky boats north of the green can, up to 2ch bouy. From what I heard today it was the same thing, stay in legal waters and catch a skunk. You obviously did an outstanding job, catching really pretty fish while most boats were skunked. Capt, Joe

Congratulations on a good catch. Fishing with Greg should have been a blast. Not only a good captain, but pretty darn good in the pit also. I keep my boat in OI in the same marina and know him pretty well. Great guy. Wish I had his cell # programmed into my phone to find out where you were.... Any help would be appreciated. I am headed out tommorrow (keeping the boat in Rudee for a few months) and will be running the pit and trying to run the boat at the same time. Inexperienced crew including my 7 year old son. I may have him run the boat as I think he can do a better job than many of the people I have seen out there in the last few weeks.:eek2:
