Went to get some lines wet with my Dad and father-in-law today in search of some toothy critters. We didn't find any, but hooked up with 17 yellow perch (the biggest below). Just fished from the dock where my boat stays over the winter. We've caught pickerel there this time last year, but not sure if it was the tide being out or warmer weather, but they were not hungry today. It was good to get out and get some pullage.

Looking forward to The Derby :clapping2:

WTG :clapping2:. I'd be willing to bet with that many yellow Perch around - there are a few Pike nearby.Damn , Yellows are pretty fish in winter.

Thanks guys.

Greg - yes we were at SRSC in the Severn. Had luck with Pickerel in the past but not this time. I'll be back a few more times this winter for sure, and might launch my kayak from there too. :fishing2:

Skip - the colors of the yellows are nice in winter. You can't see it in the pic, but the pelvic fin (I think that's the one under the belly) was a bright redish orange, which was really cool. Fun to catch and they were fiesty too. ;-)

Bobby look at you. Old GM used his super secret severn satellite imaging spy system to pinpoint you exact location in old Aunt YC. Pretty work. And as you you old Millenberg I recently hacked into your system we'll be watching oh we'll be watching...(insert evil laugh here).....:D:D:D

Those are some of my stomping grounds Big E. Didn't need to go to the satelite hook-up. No pickerel in there though...only yellows, as Rob can attest. ;-):D
