So does anyone know what this is going to do to the great catfishing in the river? This tragedy sounds like it could be the end of the greatest catfish fishery on the east coast.

You guys tickle me to death. Its unfortunate that it happened but the river is huge. That fertilizer will be in the sargassos sea by the time algea bloom occurs. I bet after every thunder storm in Va, 1,000 times that amount of fertilizer pours into the James from our lawns, farm fields, and pastures. That's right 1,000 times.
