Skip - I sure hope you get some justice and that someone who knows something steps forward. I see the 5k comment as someone trying to bring some levity to a serious situation. I know this is very personal to you and that you see little humor in it. I had a far worse situation that went on for years. Someone stalking my daughter, following her to work, to class at college, sending suicidal/homicidal letters, etc. It turned out to be a very dangerous undividual and I finally caught him through my own investigative work, after two years of hell. . It was a horrible situtation. My neighbors saw this guy looking into our windows in the early morning hours. We had to find some levity with it to maintain our sanity. Jim

Cslug - we will see how it pans out.Offering a reward is standard practice when leads run out.I'll pass any and all info to the police and let them figure out if charges can be pressed.

The DNR and police are doing their best to catch this person - they just need some info/help.

I'm sure you would feel different if it was happening to you.If it is so frivolous - how about writing a check to cover the tires , about $925.00 will do.

Bigmouth - we saw a crabber hiding two bushels of crabs in his boat.I called DNR and they stopped him and found the illegal catch.I'm sure he knows it was me that called DNR.When I called - I said it seemed suspicious that he was storing bushels of crabs in the cabin - in summer.Sure enough-he kept one on deck for DNR to see but hid the other two.I do not hesitate to call if I see poachers - DNR needs extra eyes out there.
