Today we welcomed an intrepid group of MANLY MEN Tidalfish.com deep drop anglers put together by Mr. Chris Surowiec for a total of 10 anglers. Among these worthy anglers was the one, the only, world famous Graybeard! This was our 13th extreme long range deep drop adventure of the 2007 campaign. Mr. T.J. Reiber of Northern Virginia served as 1st Mate today.

We struggled again today with the disgusting and totally hideous 10 to 1 DTB Ratio (Dawg Shark to Bass Ratio) to settle for another hard earned 125 keeper Black Sea Bass total (well short of our limit). We salvaged the day somewhat with 19 keeper Blueline Tilefish. We only had 1 VA Weight Citation (see below and pictures). It's just Dawgs, Dawgs, and more Dawgs everywhere you go - they're absolutely taking over the deep drop world.

We also released an armada of Dawg Sharks, undersized Black Sea Bass, and hideous Conger Eels. "Ralph", "Earl", and The Car Salesman" live here.

Mr. Edward J. Mezewski of White Hall, MD - 5 pounds 3 ounces

After wrestling with a wild pack of Dawg Sharks, repelling them from the vessel, and releasing a couple of undersized Black Sea Bass - the one, the only, WORLD FAMOUS TF Angler Extraordinaire - Graybeard victoriously hoists his first keeper Black Sea Bass aboard the Jil Carrie wearing a broad smile of accomplishment (the best was yet to come)...
