I haven't seen a report from the promise land since the great report from Francis? Did the temps and wind blow them out. Below 40 in years past has been a wasteland.

I posted a CBBT report at the end of my Marlin report from a trip on Monday. The water temp was between 38.2 and 39.8 and we slayed the fish all day. We're headed down tomorrow (saturday) to brave the 3 footers and try again.

One of my best days fishing last year down there was in early february with water temps below 40 degrees... here's a screen shot from that day... notice the water temp:

Just got back from two days there (Thurs & Friday) Water temp was hanging around 38 today. Plenty of bait and fish around. Caught a couple hundred between the two days. Gonna need some Advil in the morning from all the pullage:D Nothing huge, biggest fish was low 30's. Just nice to be catching something. These were the size fish in general..

Spynet's report is dead on, we absolutely slayed fish yesturday, nothing huge but plenty of footballs to 30". We had so many triples we lost count quickly. Stingsilvers vertical jigged out produced ba's and bkds. It seems like every piling between the 2nd and 3rd was loaded with fish, we had some drifts last 15-20 minutes just letting the wind and current carry us along the bridge. Sore today.
