My brother-in-law is in town so I tried to show him some nice Chesapeake stripers. Just like last month, tons of fish on the meter in 35-45 feet, but nothing trolling (#17 & #18 Tony's, one behind a spoon umbrella). We gave up trolling and tried jigging, which at least got my BIL one 14" rock. Meh.

On the way in, we met up with my brother in a Severn Creek and cast spinners at the shoreline. The water there was beautiful....SAV nearly to the surface in 10' of water, with visibility easily halfway down. By this time it was nearly noon so the fishing was slow, but my son managed a very heavy 13.75" W. Perch that he released. Definitely a fish of a lifetime, even though it wasn't our target species.

Not sure how to un-sideways the pic!
