Heading out early to catch surnise drum bite with Chad and Kenny, after a nice run at nautilus that didn't come tight, the swell was getting to chad so headed to the cbbt. Hooked him up on a nice 9lb sheepshead on clam after about an hour, bite was slow but got a double a few minutes later with Kenny on another big sheep and at the same time the red picked up a clam and starts screaming. After a fun 15 min battle chad brings the 43" red in for some pics. Tide went slack and the sun was up, so we went looking inside the forth. Perfect sighting conditions but not seeing any life. Decide to head off the oceanfront and started spotting rays, came up on a school of about two dozen reds for the first time and they would not cooperate and saw a few more big reds swimming alone. No cobia or hook ups by the time the wind picked up.
