Hi guys,

John Fryer and I are joining up with 3 guys from Wilmington, DE/PA area to do 3 days of six man charters on the 48 ft charter boat Stacy VII, (not the Stacy IV head boat shown on their website) out of MoreheadCity/Atlantic Beach. You can view the marina and [email protected] Fishing Boats-Deep Sea Bottom Fishing & Sports Fishing Trolling Charters - Capt. Stacy Fishing Center > Home The dates are set for May 6, 7, 8.

Fishing in the past years has been a mixed bag of bottom fishing for snappers, sea bass(up to 8 lbs), blue tile fish, triggerfish(limits of 15/man), groupers, etc. and they have live lined for some beautiful 20 -40lb Mahi Mahi. Caught king mackerel, amberjacks, cobia, etc.
I personally am going to add vertical jigging to the catching effort this year .

Last year the guys average catch was about 400 lbs a day of a mixed bag fishing for snapper, grouper, dolphin, tile fish, large sea bass(2 1/2lbs+),and trigger fish. Occasionally larger fish such as king mackerel, cobia, amberjack, and drum were landed. Last year they limited out on trigger [email protected] 15 per man in day 1 day. On day 2 they limited out on sea bass @ 25 per man as large as 8lbs. Did 424 lbs on day one and 391 lbs the next day and limited out on silver snappers (b liners) @ 3 per man.

Price per man per day is $167 +$20 mate tip per day. Total is $560 for the three, 12 hour trips. Motel is about $30-40 per night w/ three to the room. Probably go down in 2 cars of 3 people each. I'm planning to drive down from the Lewes area with John and anyone else interested. Can arrange to meet up for the drive down or meet up down there.

Sounds like it is going to be a fun trip! Looking for one more person to round out the six of us. Any interest? Please let me know either way. If you can't make it, but know someone who might be interested, please let me or John know.

Thanks,

Mike
