Put together a four man crew with Jay, Alex and Kenny on board to check out the "hot" flounder bite. Caught some nice mullet for bait and grab some blue fish strips before heading to the second. Tried along with a few other boats for a little while but not seeing anything but croaker, skates and lots of toads. Decided to check out the first isle, cruising along and wham, I spot two nice cobes swimming right towards us, threw the boat in neutral, then reverse but still couldn't stop in time. Luckily they popped right back up and Alex tosses the meathog right in front and the big one crashes it. Passes the rod down to Kenny for his first "real" cobia battle. After about 30mins of nice runs, we boat a 46", 30lb cobia. Went back to flounder and finally found a bite at the third, but only three keepers for the day, as the wind and tide kept ripping. Saw another Cobia swim by before the clouds rolled in but missed him. All in all not to bad but still looking for that hot flounder bite.

Don't you hate it when you're trying to find flounder and cobia keep swimming by your boat? At least you had a meat hog tied on to one of your flounder outfits to stop them from following you around.
