Two of us launched at Matapeake around 6:30 in a light fog.

Ran south towards the 85 / 83 area - lines in at 7:00 on the 45 ft ledge . Watched a beautiful sunrise.

Trolled into the shallower water and had a knock down that didn't come tight. Trolled 12 rods with boards - all tandems - all 9" chutes on the boards back 10-15 bars and heavier 6" spoon / buck tail tandems on the boat with weights.

Trolled around until 8:30 with nothing - didn't see any fish caught trolling in the 30-45 range with rest of the fleet. Also never saw any breaking fish or bird activity.

Got a call from a friend of descent bite at 82 - trolled that way and 9:45 hit a double off the board tandems - 30 and 26 in 45 ft of water.

Reset and circled back and nothing.

Had to be back at 12 so started cleaning lines while trolling out from 45 to 60 ft and two go down on board we hadn't cleared yet - land two fat 24 and 27" fish.

Great Day with Beautiful Weather.

Congrats on the fish. We were on the other side in 35 feet all morning. Still running the smaller stuff with inlines down around 15-25. Limited out, but everything around 22. Fat though. Enough fish that we were throwing back the skinny ones.
