I suspect that a major announcement will be forthcoming about the U.S.'s desire to rid itself of about 9,000 nuke wareheads over the next three years. That would still leave us with roughly 1,200....more than enough by any standard. Once the process is complete, it will save roughly $36-$50 billion annually (the higher figure assumes that Yuca Mountain is finally opened). I further suspect that this figure will be arrived at in parallel to similar cuts by other nations, particularly the Russians, Indians, Pakastanis and Chinese.

If you're for this, you might want to send your congressman a note, particularly if he/she sits on the armed services or an energy committee.

That's what the giant trampoline is for.......70,000 trampoline jobs will be created under that program.

Yes, I know. I'm a big fan of Reagan's Gorbi diplomacy. That, in my view, is 80% of what places him in the realm of great Presidents. Another 10% is rescuing the military from the depths of disrepair.
