DF and I got out yesterday. Light traffic out there considering the potential that the first full moon of April brings. I guess the 40% chance of showers kept folks away, along with the 10 -15 Easterly predicted.

It's been a good C&R season so far. We got a 37" yesterday. She was a whopping, off the chart, 24 pounds. Phattie. It came in on a big, gnarly, bug-eyed Clouser.

We had several others in the 35 and 36 range, a couple in the low thirties, and a bunch in the twenties. Probably 8 fish or so on the fly rods, which is decent in sub-50 degree water. We've even had a few on the fly rod down in the mid forty degree range, which is a first for me.

The photo of the fish is a mess, so I'll leave you with a good dawn patrol sunrise from last week....
