A PUBLIC FORUM ON GOVERNMENT ACTION
AND WATER QUALITY ISSUES

Virginia Beach Central Library Auditorium
Presentations by

Steve McLaughlin, City of Virginia Beach, will present information about water quality work being undertaken and planned by the city of Virginia Beach. Find out what initiatives the city has for dealing with storm and sanitary sewer runoff into the Lynnhaven River. What money will be needed to accomplish the city's plans and where will the money come from?

Christy Everett, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, will present information about state level initiatives and funding for water quality issues in the Chesapeake Bay watershed and its tributaries. What did our state legislature do this year? How will the allocated money be spent? What new funding is needed and what is planned for future years.

The presentations will be followed by a question and answer period. This program is free and open to the public. A concurrent program for children ages 6 through 11 will be offered.
