I'm new here so bear with me. I have seen several acronyms that I do not understand. Is there an acronym dictionary anywhere? I have seen LTJ alot and not sure what it means.

LTJ is when a guy grabs one of his fresh water outfits and does his best Melwood resident having an epileptic seizure at the rail imitation. Side effects may include hallucinations that DFITO is sooooo difficult to catch....

Welcome, There is something new under the sun!

Hi grady, Welcome to TF it can be a great community.. There are a lot of fine folks here.
.
This Jigging thing is all the rage, and it seems to work. Mr Kimbro wrote a very nice book about it. Those guys catch a lot of fish, and they catch big fish consistantly.
.
For someone new to this tecknique, It may seem bizarre, and confusing... Try to keep an open mind... Good people, are trying to train the beginners, among us [ including myself ].
.
This LTJ method of fishing, uses different lures, and methods, of attracting the stripers.
They use very light rods, in one hand, and use a wrist action to pull the jig off the bottom, and allow it to fall back toward the bottom.
.
I just ordered a special fishing rod for this purpose. There is a nice guy in frederick who makes wonderful excellent jigging rods.
I hope that these explainations are helpful and not too basic.
tight lines, tom granger aka superdink...
