I am considering purchasing a DLSR camera, a relative has recommend the Nikon D80 with the 18 - 135mm lense. I can get this online for $799. with a 2gb memory card. I want to keep the price under $800 as that really is the top end of my range. Anybody have this camera, any recommedation on and alternative one?

Made my decision and purchased the D80 with 18-135mm lens. Ended up paying $700 through ritzcamera.com. In addition this week they added a free 18-200mm lens to the package so I called and had them send me that lens, now it is not a very good lens but probably a $160 value for free.
